Human interactome research history.

Interactions of proteins and molecules have a long history. Most biochemistry is about association and dissociation of molecules in columns, surfaces, and chemicals.

As usual, there should not be a single person of lab who invented the concept of the term. 

One of the fist human interactome created by using the concept of 'homologous interaction' using PSIMAP. PSIMAP is based on protein structural interaction. Therefore, it could predict the global protein interactome of the biome. Human interactome was created using the homology of protein structures in around 2001. The actual publication was in 2003 by Han et al. 
However, this was a theoretical human interactome.
